Olive trees grow around the two villas (FONTECARESINO 1 and FONTECARESINO 2) and the property is surrounded by woods of oaks, chestnuts, pines and whitewoods. The villas are isolated and the views of the hills are breathtaking, only a few other farmhouses are visible in the distance. Beautiful and serene walks in the woods and surrounding countryside are always available to our guests.
Built in the seventeenth century, the property was part of the “Badia di Coltibuono” farm for several hundred of years. The villas have been recently restored for comfortable living. The restoration was done with the intent to preserve the integrity of the original buildings by the Architect Marta Lonzi.
